Creating and Testing Code in Year 3

The students realised the starting point was very important to how the code would need to be created. It was also a must to help BeeBot learn to write numbers the correct way!

Creating code for '0' using BeeBot command cards.

Documenting a created code for '0' in a Book Creator eBook.

Creating code for '7' was easier than '0'.
The students in Mrs Cooke's and Mrs Coode's class continued to create codes for the purpose of helping BeeBot to learn how to write numbers. Further, they tested their codes that had been recorded in their Book Creator eBooks by inputing and running their codes on the BeeBots. They demonstrated some great collaboration and team work in their groups to test if their codes were successful. Many groups then progressed to creating code for harder numbers that incorporated backwards commands such as '3' and '4'. Well done Year 3's!
