Explaining Everything in Year 2

First, everyone created and labelled their bar graphs then converted them to 3D in Numbers app.

Then we outlined special elements of the dice roll data with inking in Explain Everything app.

Then everyone created an explanation of their data using Explain Everything app.
The lovely students in Mrs Aylett's class learned to use a new app called Explain Everything to create and record a short analysis of the data they had created last session. Everyone converted their 2D bar graph made in Numbers app to a 3D graph which made reading the data easy. It even put a little finger scroller on the graph to move it at different angles. Then everyone copied and pasted their 3D graph into the Explain Everything app. In this app they learned that they can use different colours to add ink to their graph outlining low tallies such as the number 2 and the highest tally, number 4. Finally, everyone used the recording feature (red button) to record some short descriptions of what the data showed. Some of the class even explained why they thought the data was like this! Well done Year 2's!
